Every cheese return grants you 10 points, and if you push yourself returning 3rd returns you 12 points, 2nd hands over 14, and 1st gives a whopping 16! You may also keep an eye on when you'll be shaman by watching the "score" to the right of the chatbox. You'll also receive a notification in the chatbox. You'll know when you're a shaman due to the different coloration of your mouse, different adornments, and your oddly colored text.
All in all, he's the big cheese (smack me for the pun). Shaman is probably the most important position in the room and dependent on the map you play can be necessary to the completion of cheese being returned to the hole. The Shaman is the mouse that guides all of the other mice to the cheese, then the hole through summoning objects from a menu on the bottom right and mixing these objects with 4 colored anchors with different abilities which can produce a variety of different outcomes and structures. I didn't notice any actual guides in the discussion forum, so I figured I'd throw one in!Ī very frequent complaint when it comes to playing public, and even private rooms is that you usually encounter those bad shamans who can't make heads or tails of controls.
